Forest Bathing at Grand Ravines North County Park

Join our guide Katie Venechuk from In Your Element Wellness to explore the relaxing practice of guided Forest Bathing and the beauty of Grand Ravines Park.

During this program you'll learn a bit about the background and research of forest bathing (inspired by the Japanese wellness practice Shinrin-yoku), how it is different from a hike in the woods, and why it’s internationally recognized as an effective tool for natural stress relief. From there, we'll take a short walk to a peaceful spot in nature for a guided forest bathing experience that will help you relax, reconnect, and experience your time outdoors in a new way. Our program will end with a special wild foraged tea ceremony in the forest, offering you new tastes and nourishment from nature.

Registration is required and opens 7/14 at 9AM. This program is for ages 18+. Meet at the first parking area at Grand Ravines North Park, which will be marked with a program sign. 9920 42nd Ave Georgetown Twp, MI 49428
