First annual Mother's Day Celebration
You're cordially invited to a Mother's Day celebration with the community. Sponsored by your favorite community News page - Jeffersonville Indiana Breaking Local News. We are holding a fun filled afternoon at the Perrin Family Park where family and friends can come together to celebrate Mother's day.
During the celebration there will be plenty of Cookies and milk to go around for everyone. We will be offering standard cookies and sugar free cookies. We also will provide an option for those who have milk allergy alternatives. We ask if you have any special dietary needs to please report ahead of time so we can make accommodations.
Location:
We will be located at shelter 1. This small shelter house is located right next to the play park and next to the bathroom so there is an easier access to facilities in the park. the facility is closer to the middle road side of Perrin Family Park. We will provide a map of the mark at a later time for easier navigation.
Time of Celebration:
The festivities begin around 6pm. we want to give parents enough time to pick up kids from school or after school sports/activities. This also allows parents time to feed their family dinner or bring dinner with them and have milk and cookies as snacks afterwards so the kids are not filling up on just cookies alone.
Cookies for sale:
We will also have Cookies for sale for those who would like extra cookies to take home. 100% of proceeds from sales will be placed back into the community. All money earned from cookie sales will be used as donations that will buy food that will in return be donated to a local food Pantry. All Receipts and Items will be documented.
RSVP- We ask that if you plan to attend to please RSVP in the event listing page. We will be baking a lot of cookies and want to be prepared for a big turn out for those who might be coming. It's easier to plan ahead. If enough cookies are made to help feed 100 people, and only 2 show up, it'll be hard to move items made around without waste. At this time we ask if attending that you please RSVP. you can click the "going" button at the top of the events or comment on the post of events that you're going and including any dietary needs you may have.
