Horses have the uncanny ability to cut the BS and get to the core of things.

As herd animals that need each other to stay safe, they only see the truth of your current state of being—no matter what mask you may put on in an attempt to hide it, fit in, or keep the peace. They cannot see the masks even if other people around us are fooled by them. They are masters at mirroring back your true state and invite you to take off your mask.

To get to know yourself better means you can let go of identities you feel aren't you. You get to step into your true nature and let go of all the expectations and judgments you put on yourself or feel others put on you.
