We're moving the date and site a bit, to change this Excursion to South Park City's Living History Days, with actors portraying events that might have happened in 1880's Fairplay.
South Park City preserves the history of Park County, through conservation of buildings and materials that describe Western Victorian-era culture. More information is available at

The museum appeals to fans of everything from mining history to historical clothing. South Park City is located in Fairplay, CO - less than 2 hours drive from most of the Denver metro area or Colorado Springs.
Feel free to bring a picnic lunch or plan to buy concessions at the museum. We're big fans of their birch beer and sarsaparilla.

Please note - while the start time is listed at 12:00 pm, the museum is open from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, and you're welcome to come and go as you please.
As always, Neo-Victorian attire is always admired, but never required. However, the SPC folx really admire our period attire, Steampunk or authentic.
