Meet Your Teacher

Jared Urchek is a Maryland-based naturalist, mycologist, and licensed acupuncturist passionate about foraging and education. For over a decade, he has led mushroom foraging workshops at Fox Haven, emphasizing ethical and safe wild harvesting. He also runs Vital Traditions Acupuncture in College Park, integrating natural health practices into his work.
