Blessing of the Animals and Supply Drive for Friends of Jefferson Animals

We invite the community to bring your pets for a blessing as we gather to commemorate the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi. Blessings will take place October 4 at 6:00pm on the south lawn of the church.

As part of this event, we are conducting a supply drive for our local animal rescue group, Friends of Jefferson Animals.

Suggested donation items are:

Dog and cat food, treats, blankets, paper towels and antibacterial wipes.

"Most high, omnipotent, good Lord, grant your people grace to renounce gladly the vanities of this world; that, following the way of blessed Francis, we may, for love of you, delight in your whole creation with perfectness of joy; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen."
