Behind the heavy doors of Captain’s Castle, history lingers. Not your typical haunted house of masks and cheap thrills, The Black Veil of Jefferson is a fully immersive, small-group experience that blurs history with horror.

By lantern light, you will be guided through the Castle’s shadowed rooms — brothel secrets, sorrowful nurseries, tragic suicides, forbidden rituals, séances, and mourning parlors where Jefferson families once said their final goodbyes. Each space is brought to life with Victorian detail, eerie atmospheres, and living tableaux. Actors embody the Castle’s restless spirits, while guides weave the stories of those who came before… and never left.

This is not just a haunted house. It is a haunted history.
