About the event

A Book Signing with Rose M. Haynes, author of The Ore Knob Mine Murders
Join us at the Museum of Ashe County History as we host a book signing with Rose M. Haynes, author of the Ore Knob Mine Murders!

Haynes, an author and journalist, will give a brief talk and Q&A session about her book, followed by the book signing itself. This event will take place in Ashe County's historic 1904 courthouse, where the Ore Knob Mine Murder Trial took place. Some photos and newspaper article from the trial will be available for viewing. Visitors are encouraged to share their own stories about the case and trial.
