Intro to 3D Design: Getting a 3D Printer for Christmas?

If you are getting a 3D printer this holiday season, this workshop is designed to help you move beyond printing pre-made files. We will teach students how to create their own custom designs using TinkerCAD, a free and accessible browser-based program.

In this series, students will:

Learn to navigate the 3D workspace.

Combine geometric shapes to create custom objects.

Prepare their designs for 3D printing.

Schedule Options:

Ages 13+: Fridays, Jan 9 & 16 | 5:30 – 6:20 PM

Ages 9-12: Saturdays, Jan 10 & 24 | 11:00 – 11:50 AM

Tuition: $30 per student (covers both sessions).

Private Troubleshooting & Lessons: If you are having trouble setting up your new printer or prefer 1-on-1 instruction, we offer private sessions with Mr. Zak. We can help troubleshoot common issues like bed leveling and filament jamming.

Cost: $30/hour
