You are invited to the upcoming LU-MRRL Lecture Series event, "Good Enough to Eat: The Anthropology of Cannibalism" This event is scheduled for Wednesday, October 22 from 6:30-8 pm at the Art Gallery, Missouri River Regional Library (214 Adams Street, Jefferson City). This talk will feature Dr. Christine E. Boston, Associate Professor of Anthropology and Sociology. The talk description is below:

Despite being a universal taboo, cannibalism remains a simultaneously fascinating and revolting topic, penetrating imaginations and popular culture to this day. In this presentation, Dr. Christine Elisabeth Boston, associate professor of anthropology and sociology, will address the linguistic origins, history, cultural beliefs, and biological consequences of cannibalism among humans across time and space.
