Father Ferdinand Helias spent 36 years of his life fostering Catholic congregations in Central Missouri. He left a diary of his years of service, written in classical Latin. James Farris, long-time Latin teacher and professor at Jefferson City High and Westminster University, spent 18 months translating the diary. Join Farris has he speaks of the life, work and humor of Fr. Helias. Copies of the translated diary will be available for purchase.
