Irons In the Fire is made up of a group of musicians who all play with other bands - the name fits them well!
Julie Robards, vocalist and rhythm guitar player, has been performing throughout the Adirondacks since 1998. She is a member of Moonshine Hollow Bluegrass and also enjoys entertaining children during the holidays as Julie Jingles.
Eric Klotzko of Keene is much in demand as a keyboard player who adapts well to any genre of music. He also plays mandolin and is a member of the popular band Mallory's Bush, as well as the Larry Stone Band.
Jeremy Loving is an alto and tenor saxophonist based out of Saranac, NY. Influenced by sax greats David Sanborn, Grover Washington Jr., King Curtis and Sonny Rollins, Loving’s sound blends elements of R&B, Funk, Rock and Jazz with an emphasis on
improvisation. He also plays with Mallory's Bush and other musicians as well.
Scott Renderer is an artist who likes to paint and wear hats. He is best known as the founder of the Upper Jay Arts Center /The Recovery Lounge. Scott jumps in on the drums often at the January Jams open mic, and also plays with a rock band called badMotorskooter.
Jesse Murphy - bass player from Saranac Lake, is a musician and producer originally from NYC. His most recent work with Norah Jones and Brian Blade on the album Visions earned him a Grammy Award. He also contributed to John Scofield's Uberjam which received a Grammy nomination.
