Let your child’s creativity blossom indoors this season!
Join Heartbeet Gardenscapes for a 6-week nature-inspired art camp designed to spark imagination, foster mindfulness, and nurture a connection to the earth—all while staying cozy inside.
Each week explores a different element of nature using child-friendly, accessible materials and creative techniques including painting, printmaking, clay, collage, and more. Campers will leave with their own nature journals, handmade art pieces, and a renewed sense of wonder.
• Ages: 6–11
• When: September 23-October 28, 2025 (6 weeks) on Tuesdays 4:00-5:30 PM
• Focus: Creativity, nature connection, sensory awareness, and fun!
• Supplies: All materials included.
• Cost: $185

WEEK 1: SUN & SKY
Theme: Exploring textures, colors, and patterns found in nature
Objective: Kids will create and decorate their own art journals, explore natural textures through rubbings, and make a nature-inspired color wheel.
WEEK 2: EARTH & SOIL
Theme: Exploring the earth beneath our feet through tactile, earthy art
Objective: Campers will connect to soil and its critters by making pinch-pot clay creatures and mud-inspired art, while learning how soil supports all life.
WEEK 3: TREES & FORESTS
Theme: Connecting with trees and forest life through art
Objective: Campers will explore tree anatomy, make bark print art, and create imaginative forest scenes or tree spirits using natural materials.
WEEK 4: BUGS & POLLINATORS
Theme: Celebrating the small but mighty creatures that help our gardens grow
Objective: Campers will learn about insects and pollinators by crafting bug-inspired art, participating in a pollination game, and appreciating the beauty and role of bugs in nature.
WEEK 5: WATER & WEATHER
Theme: Exploring rain, clouds, and the magic of water in nature and art
Objective: Campers will experiment with water-based art techniques and create weather-themed projects while learning about the water cycle and different weather patterns.
WEEK 6: GARDEN CELEBRATION & NATURE GALLERY
Theme: Honoring our creativity and connection to nature through an indoor art show and celebration
Objective: Campers will reflect on what they’ve learned, complete any unfinished projects, and help set up a mini nature-inspired gallery for friends and family to view and be presented with a Nature Artist Certificate for completing the 6-week camp.
