Billsburg Brewery is proud to celebrate the spirit of Williamsburg tradition by tying in the annual release of our Grand Hallucination Imperial Rye Porter with the historic weekend of the Williamsburg Grand Illumination.
Join us on December 6th for a day and evening of festive cheer! Just as the city lights up with colonial-era grandeur, we're illuminating our own corner of the world. The celebration will feature a festive atmosphere at our Winter Wonderland Market, showcasing local artists and makers, with live music from Alex Lawhon starting at 6:30pm.
This year, Grand Hallucination was designed around an all-Virginia malt bill. In part, with our friends at Murphy & Rude in Charlottesville, VA, we’re showcasing what Viginia soil combined with expert care can bring to your glass.
Grand Hallucination is a symphony of malt richness with notes of chocolate, toffee, and a slight spice finish that only a heavy dose of their Blonde Rye could provide.
As we commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution, we invite you to celebrate history and be part of history-in-the-making with us! We raise a glass of this winter decadence to our amazing local community and our partners in celebration: Visit Williamsburg, Williamsburg250, and VA250.
