On Wednesday, November 19th, at SOLT Cafe & Spa (519 West 3rd St, Jamestown), Loretta Cheney will host a unique gathering for those interested in a taboo topic, death. All that is needed are curious, open-minded individuals willing to gather and discuss a topic most avoid yet affects everyone.
This particular DeadTALK is being held in a very unique setting, with limited seating. Therefore, guests and curiosity seekers are asked to register and prepay for this event by calling 716-484-3355 (select #2 when prompted). We will be collecting a $40 registration donation that will go to St. Susan's Soup Kitchen.
Starting at 5:30pm, bring your thoughts, questions, fears, experiences, etc., to contribute to this intriguing conversation in this magical location. It is important to note this is not a bereavement or grief counseling event, though sometimes tears are shared ;) Reach out for more information.
Loretta Cheney is a Member of the Seneca Nation, K-12 Certified Art Teacher, Potter, Certified Meditation & Mindfulness Teacher and a Death Doula. Spiritually, she fancies herself an Indian Cowgirl, who believes in dreams, signs, miracles and magic.
