Spintastic! Partner Spinning on Straps
Friday 11/7 7:30 pm - 9 pm
Partner up under the straps! Students will learn a short spinning duo straps routine. We’ll break down the sequence into digestible segments, explore the transitions & bring it all together.
Prerequisites:All levels. New to straps? No problem! We'll introduce foundational wraps & proper engagement. *No partner needed!
Release 101! DuoTrapeze Release Skills Dissection!
Saturday 11/8 8 pm - 9:30 pm
We'll introduce drills to empower students with progressions for full release moves. Expect to learn about:
- calibration & tempo
- compression technique
- how to fall (planned bails for learning pathway)
- skill specific risk assessment

Bayard & Leah have been working together since 2017, with a combined total circus experience of over 20 years. As Cirque Gravizoides, they perform duo-trapeze, duo straps, partner acrobatics, as well as partnering on various invented apparatus. As a duo, they have studied under DuoRose Trapeze (Chicago), Elsie Smith of NECCA, MC Fournier (Cirque du Soleil, 7 Fingers), & Jessica Perry. They teach a weekly DuoTrapeze class in Denver, CO (at Gravity Aerial Arts). They also offer workshops in Denver & beyond! They are fully insured coaches based out of Denver, CO with a love of coaching & traveling!

They have entertained for corporate & private events in addition to casting with the Handsome Little Devils, In the Wings Aerial Dance, Aircats Aerial Arts, the Circus Collective, RAW Artists, Thrill Entertainment & the Phantom Circus in Denver, as well as Circus Up in Boston, MA & LaTica Lodge in Costa Rica. They are fully insured circus artists based out of Denver, CO.
