VIHAINEN HIPPI & HURRIT
Vihainen Hippi & Hurrit is a local nu metal/rapcore band consisting of Swedish-speaking band members and a Finnish-speaking MC, hence the name. The skillful playing of bättre folk mixed with the jaloviina-fueled spitting of the white trash frontman will leave you (and probably the band members) wondering what the fuck just happened. But the vibes are tight and so is the sound.
ALADÅB
ALADÅB is a metal band from Vaasa, Ostrobothnia, that since 2021 has been creating heavy and energetic music sung in the Sundom dialect. The band combines powerful riffs, raw rhythms and beautiful melodies with local language and humor, giving their sound both an edge and deep roots in their home region.
The group consists of four members: Kim Martin (guitar & vocals), Jonas Krokfors (lead guitar & harsh vocals), Patrick Friman (drums), and Victor Häggman (bass). Together they deliver a live experience full of energy, self-irony, and Ostrobothnian attitude.
With songs like “Skråttan”, ALADÅB has gained attention in both radio and media, including Radio Vaasa, Vegatoppen, and Yle’s program Supernova. Their music is best described as “Ostrobothnian rough-metal”, a little bit jagged, uncompromising and served with a dash of humor.
ALADÅB proves that metal is not only international but can also be performed in the most local of dialects – and still reach straight into the hearts of the audience.
MAGAFARI
Born out of last years project: ”Eyeless”. Magafari is an energetic, groovy & playful tribute-band. Guaranteed to bring you back to the pits of golden age 90’s nu-metal. This year being put together by the amazing and tasteful bass player: Aiden Magee. The tight beats & heavy riffs will turn skinny jeans baggy & turn baseball caps backwards. See you there!
