Montauk Flood Presentation

At the campground amphitheater. On Nov. 5, 2024, Montauk experienced (by far) its worst flood in recorded history. Two 1930’s era cabins were destroyed, the mill was severely damaged, water streamed feet above the mill pool levees. Join us for an in-depth look into the flood's impact on the park's infrastructure, landscape, and fish -- and the remarkable recovery efforts that followed. Lots of photos -- don't miss it!
