“She was made of deep waters and wild winds—too strong to sink.” — Nikita Gill
This reflective writing series explores how we care for ourselves as containers—bodies, minds, and spirits—navigating a world that often feels overwhelming. In the fall , we’ll begin by grounding in the self: examining what we can truly control, cultivating inner stability, and exploring our relationship to service, resilience, and emergence. Optional nearby walks may support our practice of presence and movement.
We’ll draw inspiration from three transformative works: The ServiceBerry, by Robin Wall Kimmerer; Women Writing for (a) Change, by Mary Pierce Brosmer, and emergent strategy by adrienne marie brown.
This circle is a space to build your voice and creative confidence, engage with others through thoughtful feedback and shared inspiration, and remember the stories that matter—personal, collective, and ancestral.
Bring a notebook, an open mind, and your words.
Details: Facilitator: Juli Williams. Who can join: Open to anyone who identifies as a woman. When: Successive Saturdays, including Sept. 6, 13, 20:. Class size: Limited—register early to secure your spot!
NOTE: In the spring series, we will expand outward, exploring energy, bravery, and the stories we carry. Using writing as a grounding tool, we’ll build concentric circles of connection—first with self, then with others and the wider world. Together, we’ll honor the process of living and writing: learning when to rebuild, when to rest, and how to move through the unknown with care and courage.
