Storytelling through Opera and Musical Theater

Katherine is a classically trained mezzo-soprano from Jacksonville, Florida. She was most recently a resident artist with the Nashville Opera, where she performed in main stage productions as well as outreach productions throughout the middle Tennessee area. She also recently performed with the Jacksonville Symphony as Mércèdes in Carmen. Katherine has performed with the Indianapolis Opera, Toledo Opera, First Coast Opera, Moon River Opera, MIOpera, Maryland Opera Studio, National Orchestral Institute, Florida State Opera, Seagle Music Colony, and Oberlin in Italy. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a Master of Music in Opera, and Florida State University with a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance. Katherine is also a classically trained pianist and accomplished singer/songwriter. She has self-produced original music and performed at venues and on songwriting rounds in Nashville, Franklin, Jacksonville, Toledo, Savannah and Brunswick. Katherine runs a private music studio where she teaches piano, voice, and guitar lessons, and is a church music director.
