Ready to grow a tree straight out of your wildest dreams? Join this all-media workshop and let your creativity flourish!
All skill levels are welcome. Leave with a unique piece of art and a renewed sense of creativity. Come and have some fun with like-minded individuals and create in a positive, highly supportive atmosphere.
This is an all-media workshop; you can come with your favorite media - watercolor, acrylics, pencils, pastels, and more. You will explore ideas, concepts, and compositions, textures, and feelings in order to create the most authentic fantasy tree for yourself.
The Magical twist: Everyone has the option to pull a random evocative word ( like “silk”, “whisper”, or “mechanical”, and many more) from our prompt hat. You will be able to use one or more words to inspire a special quality, texture, or a story for your tree! It’s completely optional but guaranteed to spark amazing ideas.
We will get inspired by seeing some fantasy trees and real-life unusual trees as well.
We will spend some time sketching and planning our designs and compositions.
We will incorporate the new ideas we have from the prompt hat.
You will receive guidance for the optimal process considering your chosen medium, in order to transfer your best ideas onto the paper.
There will be guidance for perspective, light, textures, and anything else you need.
At the end, everyone will have the option to share about their tree and experience painting it.

* High-quality paper 12x16 in / or an all media canvas depending on which would be best for your choice of medium
* Drawing Pads/ or Easels
* Cups
* Napkins

About The Artist:
My name is Zlatka Angelova, I started my artistic journey in 2019 after moving from Bulgaria to the United States. I fell in love with both oil and watercolor and I have been painting ever since.
I hope to share with you the joy and freedom of painting something from imagination. I want to empower you, increase your confidence, and create an inspiring group experience where you feel a sense of connection and belonging.
