ONELINE Corridor Development Study - Workshop #1

About the Event

• Open House - 4:30 to 5:30 pm: Stop by any time this hour to learn about the project and chat informally with the project team.
• Workshop - 5:30 - 7 pm: We will host an interactive community workshop beginning at 5:30 pm. We will start with a short presentation about the key findings from the initial analysis, followed by small group discussions. We want to hear about your experience on the ONELINE corridor today, what would make it easier or more comfortable for you to get around, and what kinds of destinations and developments you would like to see there in the future.

Logistics

• We will meet in the Jackson Medical Mall Community Room at 350 W Woodrow Wilson Ave, Jackson, MS 39213.
• Registration is encouraged but not required.

About the Project

The ONELINE Corridor Development Study will develop a vision and action plan for improved transportation and development along State Street and west to JSU. This is part of a strategic goal to make our city center easier to access and more vibrant.

This effort, funded by a grant from the Federal Transit Administration, gives community members an opportunity to shape how the ONELINE Corridor will develop in the future. The study area includes parts of Fondren, Belhaven, Downtown, and neighborhoods around JSU.
