Rare opportunity for the empowerment and transmission of Nyungne Practice (Arya Avalokiteshvara's Fasting Empowerment and Transmission)

In observance of the sacred tradition of fasting on auspicious dates for the peace of the world and the well-being of all sentient beings, we have continued to uphold the practice with devotion. To engage in the Nyungne fasting retreat, the Empowerment and Transmission (Wang and Lung) of Arya Avalokiteshvara is essential.
At the sincere request of the Sherpa Kyidug and community members, it is with joy that we announce H.E. Khen Rinpoche Sange Rangjung will graciously bestow the Empowerment and Transmission (Wang and Lung) of Nyungne practice at Sherpa Kyidug (Rigjen Chhokorling) on Saturday, August 9, 2025.
