We are delighted to announce and warmly invite you to join us in observing Chokhor Duchen, one of the four major Buddhist festivals. This sacred occasion commemorates the day when Lord Buddha Shakyamuni first turned the Wheel of Dharma, delivering his first teaching on the Four Noble Truths at Sarnath, India.
Chokhor Duchen is a powerful time to reflect on the Buddha’s profound teachings and to accumulate vast merit through collective prayers, offerings, and virtuous actions.

9:00 AM – Arrival & Offerings
9:30 AM – 1:00 PM – Special Puja (Sangserkim & Neten Chyakchoe) and prayers to honor the First Turning of the Wheel of Dharma
1:00 PM – Community Lunch
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM – Chokhor Duchen Ceremony
