With a repertoire of compositions matured over the years by different line- ups of musicians, the trio of Montpellierian pianist Benjamin Thiébault was formed for the recording of the album “Emergence”, released on October 30, 2020 on the Parisian label Parallel Records. A PLAYFUL AESTHETIC CLOSE BOTH TO CONTEMPORARY AND TRADITIONAL JAZZ, WITH AN ANCHOR FOR WRITING IN CLASSICAL MUSIC AND PIANO. A JOYFUL TRIO WITH ALSO WORLD INFLUENCES COMING FROM CREOLE (ANTILLES, REUNION ISLAND) AND LATIN (CUBAN, BRAZILIAN) MUSIC.
