Start grounded, leave lifted.
We begin with a soulful activation: a blend of Ashtanga yoga to connect breath and body, followed by Booty Basics – a high-energy, joyful fusion of twerk technique, cardio, rhythm, and sexy self-expression. We’ll wake up the pelvis, wake up the hips, shake loose what’s stuck, and ground us into our root power.

MEET THE ARTISTS
✨ Ejaspapa Gnonlonfoun, drummer, jazz percussionist, composer & improviser. Rhythm for him is more than a skill. It's a native language, a sacred force, and the heartbeat of his life.
His live percussion is nothing short of possessive. It moves dancers beyond the mind. We've shared unforgettable dance journeys with his drumming guiding us. Building bridges between body and soul, between earth and the unseen.
Ejaspapa has a flawless command of both traditional and modern West African polyrhythms, collaborating with groups like Sysmo, The Peas Project, Baloji & the Katuba, Gangbé Brass Band, and many more. Based between Benin and Belgium, he shares his knowledge through professional training and plays with ensembles such as Bagadski, Gankpo, AGO! Benin Brass, and Sheikhs Shikhats & B’net Chaabi. His latest project, GanGan The New Style, explores the language of West African Talking Drums through modern expression.
