From jazz to hip-hop, from soul to funk: the genre-defying Butcher Brown from Richmond, Virginia is a sizzling live experience. With their new album Letters from the Atlantic, the quintet takes you on a musical road trip along the US East Coast — and beyond. “We make the music we truly feel connected to at that moment,” says guitarist Morgan Burrs. “Everything that happens outside of that builds on it.” A band that forces nothing but lets everything happen — and you can hear it.
