Native Berries: A Family Day of Tasting, Learning, and Exploring - Free Event

Connect to the land and the summer season through the wonder of wild berries.
Practice your art of noticing and learn to identify seven native berries.
We'll eat, drink, and hear stories about our native berry friends like wild strawberry, huckleberry, and salmonberry.
Guests will learn to make berry leaf tea and talk about how to harvest berries safely and honorably!
Educators from the Native Plants and Foods Institute will guide us through activities and a short plant walk.
This event is free to attend, registration required.
