Thanks to a UVA veteran alumni who graciously donated their beach condo, we have the incredible opportunity to send 1 honorably discharged veteran and their family of up to 7 on a long weekend beach vacation to Isle of Palms in South Carolina!
“Family friendly 2 bedroom beachfront condo. First floor location (1 flight steps to both the front door and the beach access path). Elevator available as well. King Master Suite w/private bath and 2nd bedroom w/ 2 Queen beds and an attached full bath. Fully functional kitchen w/ fridge, microwave, stove, and dishwasher. Comfy living room with plenty of seating as well as a queen size pull out sofa. Wild Dunes is a gated, private community with amenities for all ages.
The space
Building next door is under construction. There may be noise we cannot control during the day. There is no evening construction
Guest access
Guests have access to summerhouse pool, and other attractions on Wild Dunes such as tennis courts, and golf course
Other things to note
We have a new pack n play in the second bedroom closet as well as a BOB jogging stroller for those parents on the go!”
The selected individual will be responsible for signing a rental agreement which is standard practicing. You will also be responsible for any food and any activities you may wish to do while there.
This is a great way to escape and getaway with the family for a weekend without breaking the bank!
