About Karambar Lake & Broghil Valley
An adventurer's bucket list must include a trek to Karambar Lake. Although the trek is easy, it does require several hours of trekking, thus prior trekking experience is recommended. The journey is one of the most varied in Pakistan's northern regions, with numerous entry and exit points to the lake. It's also one of the most magnificent hikes you'll ever do.
TourRanger presents yet another exclusive trek for the trekker community to Karambar Lake while exploring the Broghil National Park.
Karambar Lake is one of the most beautiful, pristine, and pure lakes of Pakistan at an elevation of 4272 meters. It is the 31st highest lake in the world and 2nd highest in Pakistan at a height of 14,121 feet and one of the highest biologically active lakes on earth.
The approximate length of the lake is 3.9 kilometers and its width is 2 km with an average depth is 52 meters (171 ft).
Broghil Valley borders on the Afghan Wakhan corridor, which stretches between Tajikistan and Pakistan. It is situated in the Chitral district of Pakistan. It is one of the most isolated, remote, and less developed areas of Pakistan. At the same time, it has so much to offer when it comes to the natural environment. Surrounded by glaciers and mountains, the valley features around 30 freshwater lakes in a breathtaking landscape highly attractive for visitors.

Karambar Lake Itinerary
Day 1 - Islamabad to Booni Chitral.Group will gather at I-8 Markaz. We will depart from Islamabad at 12:30 AM for booni Chitral through our private booked AC Transportation. It will be a long journey of 12 hours but we keep ourselves occupied with sightseeing, stopovers, trekking talks, and get acquaintance.
Day 2 - Booni to Yarkhun Broghil Valley
• Wake up call at 5:00 AM
• Breakfast at 5:30 AM
• Start our drive on a local 4x4 jeep for Yarkhon valley at 6:00 AM
• Sightseeing and Lunch on the way
• Arrival Yarkhon at 4:00 PM
• Establish Campsite and Allocation of Camps
• Serve Noodles, Tea, and Fries
• Dinner and Overnight at Yarkhun
Day 3 - Yarkhun to Lashkargaz
• Wake up call at 5:00 AM
• Breakfast at 5:30 AM
• Start the trek to Lashkargaz, Broghil
• Serve Noodles and Tea upon arrival at Lashkargaz
• Overnight in Camps
• Dinner and Overnight at Lashkargaz
Day 4 - Lashkargaz to Karomber Lake
• Lashkargaz to Karambar Lake trek
• Karambar Lake Exploration and relaxation
• Overnight in camps at Karambar Lake
Day 5 - Reserve Day
Reserve day for weather and other small side treks
Day 6 - Retrace to Yarkhun/Ishkarwaz
• Enjoy Early Morning view of Karambar Lake
• After Breakfast, Trek back to Yarkhun from Karambar Lake
• Overnight in camps at Yarkhun
Day 7 - Arrival Back to Chitral
• Depart for Chitral after breakfast
• Arrival Chitral around 5:00 PM
• Dinner and Overnight in Chitral.
Day 8 - Chitral to Islamabad
• Chitral to Islamabad
• Breakfast at 8:00 AM
• Departure for Islamabad at 9:00 AM
• Lunch Stop at Dir
• Arrival Islamabad between 8-9 PM

15k Extra for twin sharing Camps & Rooms.
