Victorian Springtime Tour

Join us for “Victorian Springtime” – a fabulous landscape & home tour at The Armour-Stiner Octagon House in Irvington, New York!

On this one-hour seasonal tour, visitors will explore inside The Octagon House and its verdant 3.3 acres of restored landscape – both prime examples of the romantic and picturesque ideals of the third quarter of the 19th century. The tour includes the property’s Lord and Burnham greenhouse and Foxglove Garden, in addition to the veranda and selected rooms on the three primary floors inside. While enjoying lush gardens and whimsical architectural details, learn about the exotic plant species on the property, the evolution of modern landscape architecture, and the restoration of this historic home.

On rainy days, the outdoor portions of this tour may take place on the covered veranda. Recommended for ages 7+
