Orwell Prize-winning author and hip-hop artist, Darren McGarvey, examines the stories we tell about ourselves about our wounds. Once a clinical term, trauma now dominates public debates and social media, where it is freely diagnosed. A deeply personal and revealing account of how increased openness can sometimes lead to an explosion of disinformation and potentially harmful guidance.
