Backyard Saturday - Saluda Rudy Day

Join us for the last Backyard Saturday of the year — a fun and engaging outdoor experience designed especially for young children and their families!

With a special appearance from Saluda Rudy the Raccoon, this event invites kids (up to age 7) to connect with nature through hands-on activities, themed crafts, biofacts, and storytelling that brings the natural world to life.

Whether your little one is a budding adventurer or just starting to explore the wonders of nature, there’s something for everyone. Backyard Saturday is all about sparking curiosity, connecting with nature, and having fun together as a family.

Held at the Cattail Shelter in the Wetland Preserve at Saluda Shoals Park
$5 parking fee
