Waxy Wonders

Have you ever wanted to learn the art of Sgraffito? Come and join our 45-minute sessions on the 5th and 6th August. Learn more about the history of the process and create your own artwork.

We will provide a variety of colourful materials to build the base of your design. After adding a layer of wax you will be able to scratch patterns into your design to uncover a multi layered masterpiece for you to take home!

This event is recommended for children aged 5+ and their parents/carers. Parents/carers must remain with their children throughout the event. Please be aware this activity could get messy!

The sessions will take place in the Great Hall and are completely accessible. For useful information, such as how to find us and what facilities Christchurch Mansion has, we recommend reading our Access information.
