The Lost Resort with Mr Rascal launching their EP "Clean Break" and Darling River

Spend a night, not a fortune, with The Lost Resort, a band of brothers-in-lore: Matt Caldwell, Christian Duell, Adam Dargusch, and Lee Mollenhauer. The name slips in a cheeky malapropism, tipping its hat to the imagined glory days of resort-style revelry, and glory days denied, with their late mate and former bandmate Matt Schneider. Musically, it’s heartfelt rock and roll with over a dozen new songs that move through all the gears, from jangle to stomp, played out loud in song.

Opening the night is Darling River, the gravel-toned project of Matt Caldwell, stripped back to one voice, one guitar, three chords, and a few well-placed sprinkles from friends, family, and whoever else feels like joining in.

In support is Mr Rascal, continuing the musical renaissance of Christian Duell and his loose roster of blow-ins. He’ll launch the new EP CLEAN BREAK with a set of old favourites and brand-new stories.

This is a night for the faithful, for those who know the story, feel the feels, and want to put those feels to a beat. A reminder that through music, surnames aside, some of us become closer than brothers.
