Due to the upcoming nationwide march for Palestine event that has been scheduled on the same day we had our workshop plans, we have been given approval from Ipswich City Council to move our workshop to the following Sunday. If you hold a current ticket, we will be in touch ASAP.

Join the Products of Palestine team and volunteers for an immersive cultural workshop, transmuting knowledge of their Palestinian heritage through art, food and community connection.
Workshop timeslots:
+ 8:45am - 11am
+ 11:15am - 1:30pm
+ 1:45pm - 4pm
Workshop spaces are limited, please book in early to avoid disappointment as we are restricted to the size of the workshop space!
This workshop will focus on exploring an important cultural aspect of Palestine - the art of tatreez (traditional Palestinian embroidery).
A portion of profits from this workshop will be donated to Handmade in Palestine.
Important information:
- Beginner friendly, no prior experience required
- Ideal for participants ages 12+
- Young children are unable to attend this workshop, however we hope to hold more accessible workshops in the future
- All materials will be provided including light refreshments
There is street and off-street parking within easy walking distance of the Ipswich Community Gallery, please allow time to find parking as Ipswich can get quite busy these days.
