Ride For MND Research

Hey All

In May 2023 I was diagnosed with MND/ALS. This is a terminal disease that kills 1 in every 300 Australians with the average life expectancy being 27 months.

I am currently on a trajectory that takes me past that time, and I would like to raise much needed funds for research as currently there is no effective treatment or cure for MND

Not overly happy about having to sell my Harley because I can't ride anymore, I decided to get a bigger bike (Honda Goldwing) and get a mate to pillion me. Peter Davis founder of Bloodbikes Australia volunteered for the job
. Pete very regularly takes me for rides to carry blood between regional and local hospitals and now also this charity event.

We have had fantastic help from Hotel Commonwealth and also Royal Rehab for committing to assist with this event
