Some say the Devil was cast down from the steeple. Others say it is nothing more than a volcanic divot in the granite. For 285 years, the tale of the Devil’s Footprint has stirred questions of history, myth, and meaning.

Join scholars, artists, and local voices for a lively panel exploring how folklore shapes community memory. Panelists include:
• A Salem State University History Professor
• An ordained UCC Minister
• A local community storyteller
• An author of a North Shore folklore book
