Murder and Misdeeds: Suffolk’s Criminal History

Join associate professor of sociology David James and former prison officer and lecturer in criminology Laura Polley as they trace Suffolk’s relationship with crime from the 1600s to the present day.

Drawing on our archives from The Hold, this talk will explore historic patterns of crime and justice, notorious cases and the social contexts they exist within.
