Barlow Memorial Library (Iowa Falls) Career Planning

The Barlow Memorial Library and IowaWORKS have partnered to bring career planning to the library

The IowaWORKS office in Marshalltown has teamed up with the library to bring career and workforce development services to the community. On the fourth Thursday of each month, a career planner from IowaWORKS will be available at the library from 10pm to 3pm on August 28th.

Services that the career planner will provide include IowaWORKS account setup/management, 1-on-1 appointments, career planning, resume development, mock interviews, workshops, skill-based training, NCRC testing, job development, referrals to partner programs and answering unemployment questions.

Those wanting to talk with a Career Planner can arrive for services starting at 12pm. For more information, call the library’s Information Desk at (641) 648-2872.
