Service of Healing

Anyone who senses the need for God’s healing in any aspect of their lives are invited to receive the gifts of prayer, and the laying on of hands accompanied by anointing with oil during a brief Service of Healing on Sunday, May 11 at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary.
In its ministry of healing, the church does not replace the gifts of God that come through the scientific community, nor does it promise a cure. The church offers and celebrates the gifts of God’s presence with strength and comfort in time of suffering, God’s promise of wholeness and peace, and God’s love embodied in the community of faith.

The community at Gloria Dei is made up of people who love God, strive to be a place of welcome and nurture, work for justice and peace, and aim to be good stewards of our natural environment. And that community is for all people.
