Grab a seat at any of the available tables on the Northside Outside street or bring your own chairs. Whether you're a music enthusiast or just looking for a fun evening out, this event guarantees something special for everyone.
And what's better than enjoying great tunes? Pairing them with delicious food and drinks from our Northside businesses, of course! Attendees can order from any of the Northside restaurants and savor their treats on the street while soaking in the ambiance of Northside's sights and sounds.

Freegrass Trio

Freegrass is a trio of musicians (Dan Padley on guitar, Tara McGovern on fiddle, and Blake Shaw on cello and vocals) who have been called a collaborator’s dream team that just so
happen to write and perform their own music as well. The group strives to stretch the limits and wander the lines of genre all while creating the most beautiful music possible.
The name “Freegrass” is inspired both by the group’s goal of being FREE of genre labels and constraints and also by blueGRASS traits such as staying true to your best self and pushing forward.
From Felix Mendelssohn to Mel Tormé, Wheatus to Thelonious Monk, along with Dan Padley’s originals, Freegrass has a bit of everything. Prepare to be wide eyed one moment and the next
close your eyes and reap the hypnotizing sounds that emanate from the souls of Freegrass.
