Our regular monthly pinball tournament for November will be November 12th. If you cant wait to get your fix of competitive pinball in, we've got just the answer!
Registration: 11am
First Round: Noon
Entry & Fees: $10 ($1 goes to IFPA fees, $9 goes to prize pool). THIS TOURNAMENT REQUIRES COIN DROP.
Add "all the tokens you need" wristband for $10 or bring your own tokens/quarters.
Format:
5 Rounds of Group Matchplay (7/5/3/1). Initial seeds will be random, and subsequent rounds will use Swiss pairings.
After 5 rounds, players will divide into A & B Divisions. The top half, or 24 players, whichever is smaller, qualify for A Division. All remaining players will qualify for B division.
A Division: PAPA Bo3 (4/2/1/0). Highest seed will have initial choice of game or player order in group. Subsequent picks will continue based on seeding. After Game 1, all subsequent game choices in Bo3 will be determined by finishing order of previous game. Bye rounds will be determined based on player turnout.
B Division: 3 Strike Knockout (0/1/1/1). Players will be seeded based on qualifying standings & paired into groups of 4. Arenas will be randomly assigned. The winner of each round will not incur a strike, all other players will incur one strike each. Get three strikes? You're out.
Prizes:
A Division (60% of total pool)
1st: 50%
2nd: 25%
3rd & 4th: 12.5%
B Division (40% of total pool)
1st: 50%
2nd: 25%
3rd & 4th: 12.5%
