There will be a panel discussion after the screening moderated Dr. Andrea Weber with Tasha Terrones, Courtney Hammond and Rod Courtney, locals with both professional and personal experience with addiction, recovery and supporting others navigating substance use.

There will be tabling in the lobby before and after, as well as an exhibition of portraits part of the Into Light Project.

This deeply moving portrait of a family’s unwavering love and commitment to each other in the face of their son’s addiction and his attempts at recovery follows a real life story based on the best-selling pair of memoirs from father and son David and Nic Sheff. As Nic (Timothée Chalamet) repeatedly relapses, the Sheff’s are faced with the harsh reality that addiction is a disease that does not discriminate and can hit any family at any time in a searingly honest account of the ways addiction can destroy lives and the power of love to rebuild them.
