About the event

Statewide — May Hybrid Meeting
Join the Johnson County local group, which will host a Statewide hybrid May meeting featuring special guest Hazel Sanchez-Belle.

Hazel will share how they build community through drag entertainment. We’ll also discuss Iowa’s harmful legislation targeting the Trans community, how the LGBTQ community is disproportionately impacted by gun violence, and what we can do to support them.

This will be a hybrid meeting where you have the choice to attend in person or virtually over Zoom. All are welcome!
