"Saving the Corvette" a Presentation.
Hear for the first time ever, the story of what history called, "The Greatest Black Operation in Automotive History" labled internally as the "CERV 4" project.


Hear how Marketing VP and Chevrolet General Manager Jim Perkins, working with Mid-size Vehicle director Joe Spielman, "moved" $2,000,000 of unused advertising money OFF BOOK, to build a working C5 Prototype.


The men risked professional ruin and arrest to complete the project.


Why?


Spielman, told by a member of the North American Strategy Board a straw vote was taken and it was unanimous to cancel future production of the Corvette. The vote to be made public and official on June 12 of 1993 during their scheduled board meeting.


Perkins called Jon Moss who assembled a team and in only 93 days, staying sometimes hours ahead fo being caught by the auditors, produced a working prototype that Spielman used to change the mind fo the Board.


The story has NEVER BEEN TOLD in public.


Nobody in the chain of command at General Motors knew the project was happening, not even the President of GM who was shocked when he was told and confronted Jim Perkins.


Jon Moss saved the Halo car. The icon. And it nearly cost him everything.
