The Luke Daniels Band

With a blend of deep basslines, nimble riffs, the band delivers a sound that is both fiercely contemporary and rooted in trad inspired by the Boston dancehalls of the 1920s. Featuring Matt Tighe, a BBC Radio Scotland Young Trad finalist whose fiery fiddle playing blends Irish soul with world-class virtuosity; and Luc McNally, a rhythmic powerhouse and sensitive guitarist - also a BBC Radio Scotland Young Trad finalist. The Luke Daniels Band fuses English, Irish, and Scottish traditional tunes with global influences to create something vibrant, vital, and utterly unique.
