The HoHoHoliday 5K is the most festive FUN run/walk in Canada! This 5km run/walk combines the magic of the Holidays with community engagement and fitness. Be a part of a holiday movement and join 10,000 Santa’s virtually across Canada who are spreading cheer in their local community while choosing to raise funds to support Make-A-Wish Canada.
December 13th, 2025 will be the first annual HoHoHoliday 5K in Inverness! This is a family-friendly event to help celebrate the holiday season. Wear your most festive holiday outfit and join in - rain, snow, or shine! No registration required, though there will be a donation area for non-perishable food items.

HoHoHoliday 5K Info:
When: December 13, 2025 @ 10am
Where: Meet at the community green space beside the co-op prior to start time - the event will start and end at this location
Who: Family friendly event for all ages!
The route will take participants on a 5KM loop through town; signage will indicate the route as well. Participants will be required to ensure personal safety and follow all road/traffic rules during the event.
This is a fun and active way for families and friends to come together, dress up as Santa (or in their most festive holiday attire) and celebrate the Holiday Season in a meaningful way... And oh ya, this is a FUN RUN so you can take your time, set a new world record, walk it, or jog it... Just make sure to take a picture of you and your crew! #HoHoHoliday5k
