Burryman Plant Sculpture Workshop

Following the success of our seasonal wreath workshops, we’re delighted to be hosting a Burryman Plant Sculpture workshop for you to decorate for outside space – just in time for the Ferry Fair!

In case you are new to the area, The Burryman tours the town of South Queensferry on the second Friday of August in conjunction with the Ferry Fair week, a tradition dating back centuries.

The workshop runs for 2 hours for you to create and decorate a Burryman Plant Sculpture of your very own. The price of £36.00 includes all materials (frame, moss and plants) and equipment and includes a cuppa and sweet treat!

We recommend bringing gardening gloves to help handle the moss although vinyl gloves will be provided!

Each session is two hours long, and suitable for participants aged 11+. Participants aged 15 and under must be attending with an parent, carer or guardian age 16+. Participants should arrive by 18:45 so the workshop can begin promptly at 19:00.

10% proceeds will go towards the Ferry Fair.
