Breathe and Remembering Service

Christmas can be a particularly tough time for those who are mourning and have lost someone they loved, and so, at this time of year, it is the practice in our church to hold a special remembrance service. The service is open to all who feel bereaved, whether a loss has been recent or if someone has been carrying the pain of loss for many years – all who are grieving are very welcome.

The service is also open to anyone who would appreciate a moment of stillness. Christmas can be a busy and stressful time for a wide range of reasons, and so we want simply to provide a space to acknowledge these emotions before God, and to “breathe”.

There will be some songs readings and the opportunity to light a candle, or you can simply come and sit in peace – whatever is helpful for you.

This year the service is on Sunday 30th November at 3pm in Queensferry Parish Church and you would be most welcome to join us. Tea and coffee will be served after the service.
